The commission classes

The policy sets out six classes. Each one pairs a video earnings threshold with a commission rate:

How commission is worked out

Agency commission is determined by two things: your hosts' qualifying video earnings and the commission rate that applies to your class.

As a purely illustrative example, an agency whose confirmed rate is 6% and whose hosts have ₹3,00,000 in qualifying video earnings would calculate 6% of ₹3,00,000, which is ₹18,000. This shows the arithmetic only. It is not a prediction of what any agency will earn.

Why growth matters

The rate rises with each class, and the steps get larger towards the top: one point per class from A to D, then 8% to 10% at Class E and 10% to 15% at Class F. An agency with more active, well-supported hosts is therefore rated at a higher percentage, not only on a larger base.

What the policy leaves unclear

We show the table exactly as it appears in the policy, including its gaps:

• Threshold wording. Class A is labelled “above ₹2 lakh”. Classes B to F show a single amount, with no “above”, “from” or range.
• Between classes. It is not stated which class applies to an amount that falls between two listed figures.
• Below Class A. No rate is shown for video earnings of ₹2 lakh or less.
• Period. The table does not state the period over which video earnings are added up.
• Qualifying earnings. The table refers to video earnings. Whether message and gift earnings count is not stated.
